Itinerary

Brief Itinerary :

  • Day 1: Sajwar Basecamp.
  • Day 2: Base camp to Jalori Pass to Serolsar Lake.
  • Day 3: Serolsar Lake to Parashar Lake/Mandi.
  • Day 4: Parashar Lake to Rewalsar Lake.

DETAILED ITINERARY:

Day 1: SAJWAR VILLAGE

  • Arrive in Sajwar Village.
  • Sajwar village is a remote place in the heart of Tirthan valley, with mesmerizing views of apple orchids, meadows and a lot more.
  • Post relaxing and post lunch, get ready to explore nearby locations & also Jaloda and Kansar forest which is home to a variety of species.
  • On arrival, tea/coffee, snacks will be provided and the rest of the day is for you to relax, followed by dinner with music and Bonfire.
  • Meals: All meals.

Day 2: JALORI PASS – SEROLSAR LAKE

  • Get ready to start the day a bit early.Post breakfast visit to Jalori pass, especially the locations of the famous movie Yeh jawaani hai Deewani and many more movies.
  • Jalori pass is a place situated at a height, above the sea level, of 10,800 feet approx. It is in Kullu district and famous for shooting sights of our Indian movies
  • From Jalori Pass, you experience 360-degree view of the Himalaya Dhauladhar and Kinnaur range.
  • At Jalori pass you will visit KALI MATA TEMPLE.
  • After that you will be trailing for Serolsar Lake – a holy lake with the view of pine trees surrounding it, making it look not less than heaven.
  • The Serolsar lake is as big as a football ground and gets covered by snow during winter. Home to rare species of kharsu trees, the other major excursion nearby Serolsar lake is Budhi Nagin Temple which is believed to be the mother of  60 nag devtas in Himachal Pradesh.
  • Lunch at Jalori Pass.
  • On arrival at camp tea/coffee, snacks will be provided followed by dinner with music and Bonfire.
  • Meals: All meals

Day 3 : SEROLSAR LAKE – PRASHAR LAKE

  • Post breakfast you will travel to Parashar Lake.
  • Parashar Lake is located at a height of 8956 ft in Mandi District. The lake is held sacred to the sage Parashar, regarded to have meditated their, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and the river flowing down.The lake can be approached via Bajora. The path via Bajora to Parashar Lake is zig-zag. Meanwhile you will be able to see beautiful villages, orchids, farms and also you will get to know the day to day life of the villagers.
  • The trek ends upon reaching Mcleod
  • Meals: All meals

Day 4 : PRASHAR LAKE –  REWALSAR LAKE

  • Post breakfast you will head towards the third lake, the beautiful Rewalsar Lake which is square shaped with a short line of about 4461 ft.
  • You will be going by vehicle via Ner Chowk.It was held as a sacred spot for Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists.
  • By evening, you may proceed towards Delhi/Chandigarh.
