Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival At Leh

  • Arrival at Leh airport ( Your Own) and transferred to hotel.Check in to the hotel.
  • Half day for rest and leisure to acclimatize.
  • Later we will visit Leh palace,Shanti stupa and Leh market.
  • Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 2 : Leh to Sham region (124 Kms/ 5-6 Hrs)￲

  • After breakfast drive to Likir Monastery, Alchi Monastery, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib (A Gurudwara constructed & maintained by the Indian Army), Hall of Fame (A Museum developed by the India Army) and Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus River).
  • Return back to Leh.
  • Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 3 : Leh to Nubra Valley (130 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs)￲

  • Early morning post breakfast proceed to Nubra Valley via the World Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla Pass.
  • Arrive Nubra and proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder.
  • You can enjoy the camel ride (On Own) at Sand Dunes (own) between Diskit and Hunder Village. 
  • Later if time permits visit Hunder and Diskit monasteries and check in at Deluxe Camp.Evening at leisure. 
  • Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 4 : Nubra - Turtuk - Nubra￲

  • Early morning post breakfast drive Turtuk village which is a place annexed by Indian only after 1971 war.
  • About 115 kms from Nubra Valley,It can take about 3 to 4 hours to reach here
  • The total population of Turtuk is just about 4000 and follow Islam is about 40 years back this village was under Pakistan and speak baltistan language, explore this beautiful village and explore the life here, we will go for a walk around the village.
  • This village is one of the Balti villages of india & lies next to the LOC.
  • Turtuk is located on the banks of the Shyok River.It is also one of the gateways to the Siachen Glacier.
  • On clear days you can have a glimpse of K2 Mountain Peak which is located across The Border Of Pakistan.
  • Explore the village of Turtuk, village offers beautiful views of valley.
  • Return to the hotel in Nubra.
  • Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 5 : Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake (155 Kms / 4-5 Kms)

  • We get up early morning ,after Breakfast check out and leave for Pangong Lake(14,500 ft, approx. 6 – 7 Hrs drive) en route visit Diskit monastery and Maître Buddha statue, and have wonderful view of Nubra valley. Continue drive towards Pangong Lake.
  • Enjoy the turquoise color panoramic lake and sun set on the banks of lake,the magnificent mountains and landscapes which will leave you awestruck.At night it’s the best spot for stargazing. 
  • Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.

Day 6 : Pangong Lake To TSO Moriri￲

  • After an early morning breakfast checkout & drive towards Tsomoriri Lake.
  • Arrival at Korzok by late noon. Evening take a walk around the Lake to enjoy the scenic beauty.
  • Overnight stay at Korzok(Tsomoriri). 

Day 7 : Tso moriri to Tsokar-Taglangla - Leh (260 Kms/ 8-9 Hrs)

  • After breakfast retrace the route down to Puga Sumdo and then follow the road across the Polo kongka Pass (4920 mtrs) to visit Tsokar Lake, a Salt Lake system in the Rupsho plateau which is home of the Changa nomads and support many rare wild life species.
  • After sightseeing of the area take the Manali-Leh road to return to Leh, crossing Taglang-la (alt:17,585ft) en- route.
  • Arrive at hotel in Leh for dinner
  • Overnight stay in Leh

Day 8 : Leh Airport Departure.￲

  • After your breakfast, we will assist you with transfers to airport to fly back to your home with memories of a lifetime trip.
