If you are looking for a fort which looks a little, but has a lot to offer.. One such destination is a Bhairavgad of Mororshi. There are multiple forts named as Bhairavgad as the name comes from Lord Shiva’s Bhairav avtar. Hence, the names always comes with the location it is at.
Bhairavgad (Moroshi) is located near Malshej Ghat and is one of the most adventure Treks. Bhairavgad is a prominent fort which rises steeply from konkan range making it a difficult and tricky fort to climb. The base village of Bhairavgad is Moroshi. While travelling from Malshej ghat one can clearly see sharp wall like pinnacle separated from main range near Moroshi. The top of Bhairavgad is created by the geological structure known as a dyke and the final stage on the rock mass is very fascinating. Bhairavgad happens to be only fort built on a dyke making it a must see wonder for trekkers.Bhairavgad must have been very important as it holds very strategic location. Water tank at east side is also subject of study, how to preserve the water which is draining from the hill.

Previous Night
11:00 p.m. – Meet Team Prawasvede at Office in Sadashiv Peth.
11:30 p.m. – Departure for Bhairavgad from
Prawasvede at Office in Sadashiv Peth
Pickup Points : Deccan, F.C. Road, University Road, Bremen Chowk, Nashik Phata, Bhosari.
*IMPORTANT – Latecomers will have to join us on the way or make their own arrangements to reach the starting point.
No Arguments will be entertained for the same.
Event Day
04.30 a.m. – Reach Base Village.Toilets are not available in a Journey, Base Village & throughout the Trek.
06.00 a.m. – Breakfast.
06.30 a.m. – After briefing about the trek & instructions immediately start trek towards Bhairavgad.
09.00 a.m. – Reach Bhairavgad Steps. Start climbing a small Rock patch, one by one with Safety Gears.
11.00 a.m. – Reach the Top of Bhairavgad. After the View immediately start Descending.
11.30 a.m. – Descend the Rock patch one by one. Be patience while others are climbing or Descending.
12.30 p.m. – Reach Water Tank. Fill up the Water bottles & Start Descending the Fort.
02.30 p.m. – Reach Base Village. Lunch at Local Hotel.
04.00 p.m. – Start return journey towards Pune.Evening Tea on the way.
08.30 p.m. – Reach SP Collage Tilak road, Pune via same route.
We may come to Pune ONE hour before or after the given time.
