Harihar fort / Harshagad is a fort located 40 km from Nashik City, 48 km from Igatpuri, 40 km from Ghoti in Nashik district, of Maharashtra. It is an important fort in Nashik district, and was constructed to look upon the trade route through Gonda Ghat. It receives many visitors because of its peculiar rock-cut steps.

Itinerary

Previous Night

10:30 p.m.: Reporting at Via Ferrata Office
11:00:p.m.: Departure for base village

Starting Point : Via Ferrata Office in Sadashiv Peth.

Pickup Points : Via Ferrata Office,Deccan, F.C. Road,University Road, Bremen Chowk,Nashik Phata, Bhosari.

*IMPORTANT - Latecomers will have to join us on the way or make their own arrangements to reach the starting point.

No Arguments will be entertained for the same.


Event Day
05:30 a.m. : Reach Base Village.Get freshen up , Breakfast
06:00 a.m. : Start the Trek post introduction & Instructions
08:00 a.m. : Reach atop the Fort.Explore the Fort
12:00 noon : Reach back to base for Lunch
12:30 p.m. :Lunch
01:30 p.m. : Start Return Journey
03:30 p.m. : A Quick visit to Gondeshwar Temple
04:30 p.m. : Continue journey to Pune,
09:30 p.m. : Reach back to Pune

We may come to Pune ONE Hour Before OR After the given time.

Things To Carry
  • Valid Identity Card
  • Backpack (no sling bags, one side bags etc.)
  • Hiking pants, Woolen pullover/ Gloves, Raincoat, Jacket,Cap/Hat, socks, Cold cream, Sunglasses, Torch
  • Trekking equipment like trekking Shoes with good grip,trekking pole.
  • Crepe Bandage (if you have one at home)
  • Water bottle (Minimum 2-3 LTRs)
  • Extra set of Clothes (to wear after the trek, in return journey)
  • Some ready to eat food like plum cakes, fruits, dry fruits, chocolates, biscuits,etc.
  • Any prescribed personal medicine (e.g.anti-allergic medicines suggested by doctor).
  • *Covid-19 precautions : Carry Mask & small bottle of Sanitizer.
