Harishchandragad is a hill fort in the Ahmednagar district of India. Its history is linked with that of Malshej Ghat, kothale village and it has played a major role in guarding and controlling the surrounding region.The height of the fort is 1,424 meters.Harishchandragad is very popular place for trekking in Maharashtra and also one of the famous Bhandardara tourist places.

Note: It is understood that Pre-Monsoon is the Season of Occasional clouds forming around the Western Cliffs of Sahyadri Mountain range. This is the time when the Probability of Seeing the Clouds is Maximum. However, as this is a natural phenomenon, we cannot guarantee that we will see the clouds when we visit the place.

Day 1 : Saturday
05:30 a.m. – Meet Team Via Ferrata at Office in Sadashiv Peth.
06:00 a.m. – Depart for Pachnai Village.
Starting Point : Via Ferrata Office in Sadashiv Peth.
Pickup Points : Via Ferrata Office,Deccan, F.C. Road,University Road, Bremen Chowk,Nashik Phata, Bhosari.
*IMPORTANT - Latecomers will have to join us on the way or make their own arrangements to reach the starting point.
No Arguments will be entertained for the same.
08:00 a.m. – Breakfast on the way.
01:00 p.m. – Reach base village.Have a lunch at Pachnai.
03:00 p.m. – Start Trek towards Harishchandragad.
05:30 p.m. – Reach Kokankada.Leisure time till sunset.
Setup the campsite.
07:00 p.m. – Starting Campfire.
08:30 p.m. – Dinner
Continue Campfire Session.
Early to Bed People can go off to sleep by 10:00 p.m.
Day 2 : Sunday
06:00 a.m. – Wake Up Call & Morning Ablution time.
07:30 a.m. – Breakfast.
09:00 a.m. – Start Descending.
12:00 Noon – Reach Pachnai for an early lunch.
01:30 p.m. – Start Return Journey to Pune.
08:00 p.m. – Reach Starting point via the same route.
We may come to Pune ONE Hour Before OR After the given time.
- Valid Identity Card
- Backpack (no sling bags, one side bags etc.)
- Hiking pants, Woolen pullover/ Gloves, Raincoat, Jacket,Cap/Hat, socks, Cold cream, Sunglasses, Torch
- Trekking equipment like trekking Shoes with good grip,trekking pole.
- Crepe Bandage (if you have one at home)
- Water bottle (Minimum 2-3 LTRs)
- Extra set of Clothes (to wear after the trek, in return journey)
- Some ready to eat food like plum cakes, fruits, dry fruits, chocolates, biscuits,etc.
- Any prescribed personal medicine (e.g.anti-allergic medicines suggested by doctor).
